Recently, our community was touched by a terrible disease. One of our Club members wife died from ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. It is a nasty disease that rapidly progresses and is an invariably fatal neurological disease that attacks the muscles. We held a charity golf event to help raise money for a cure. We raised in excess of $50,000. It was quite amazing. My humble part was to donate this Pepper Mill for the silent auction. I was glad to lend a hand for such a great cause.
