Description
This Cremation Urn is made with a spectacular piece of Spalted Maple.
The amount of spalt lines, color variations and marking on this piece are off the totally off the charts.
This piece has a Black Walnut lid with threaded Pewter insert and an African Blackwood finial.
The finial has my signature Turquoise stone inlay on the bottom to give the piece that little something special.
With the colors and lines, along with the classic shape I gave this piece, it makes this urn very pleasing to the eye.
The urn is finished with multiple coats of a hand rubbed oil/urethane blend.
After the oil is left to cure for 30 days it buffed on three separate buffing wheels to get the perfect sheen and feel.
The piece measures 9″ wide and stands 13-1/2″ tall.
Will hold approx. 425 lbs. of cremated ashes. This size will allow it to be used as a companion urn.
