When choosing an urn you need to take into account that no matter the size of the person…everyone fits in an urn designed to hold 200 lbs. of cremated ashes. The ashes will arrive in a 6″x6″x6″ box and 99% of time it is not close to being full.

The lid was made from a piece from the same log with a threaded Boxwood insert to match the threaded Boxwood insert of the urn.

Walnut/Maple Burl Cremation Urn
This cremation urn was made from an amazing piece of Black Walnut heartwood.
The piece contains an accent ring comprised of 7-layers with 3 different woods. The main center layer being Maple Burl and the secondary 2 rings being Quilted Maple. All separated by 4 layers of black veneer.
The foot and the lid are also made from a fabulous piece of Walnut Burl.
The pawn style finial is African Blackwood.
