Poplar wood comes from a what is commonly called a Tulip Tree.
Very nice heartwood framed between the lighter sapwood.
Finished with food safe oil.
Measures 13″ wide and stands 4-3/4″ tall.

The tree came from the Country Club of Charleston which was hit by lightning during the 2019 Women’s US Open golf tournament.
