Description
This cremation urn was made from an amazing piece of Black Walnut heartwood.
The piece contains an accent ring comprised of 7-layers with 3 different woods. The main center layer being Maple Burl and the secondary 2 rings being Quilted Maple. All separated by 4 layers of black veneer.
The foot and the lid are also made from a fabulous piece of Maple Burl.
The pawn style finial is African Blackwood with a Turquoise stone on the bottom.
This is truly a stunning piece of one of a kind wood turned art.
The entire piece has an acrylic finish that was triple buffed. It looks as if it was dipped in glass.
The urn is 7″ wide and stands 14″ tall.
Will hold approx. 235+ lbs. of cremated ashes.
