Description
This piece is made from a rare piece of Jaguar Maple.
The markings and color are spectacular and encompass the piece.
It has very classic hollow form lines and shape.
The tiny holes created by the Ambrosia Beetles was filled with a turquoise inlay.
The log that this piece was made with surprisingly was salvaged from the brush pile at our local transfer station.
Finished with several coats of oil/urethane blend to allow all the figure and character of the wood to “pop” and come alive. Once cured it was buffed and then hand rubbed with a museum quality wax giving the piece a perfect sheen and real wood feel.
This piece would be perfect for enhancing the décor of your home or office.
The piece measures 9” tall and is 7” wide.
