This globe has a spectacular natural spalt streak running down the front piece that definitely adds to overall character of the piece.
Finished with several coats of oil/urethane blend to allow all the figure and character of the wood to “pop” and come alive. Then I applied several coats of lacquer.
This piece will make a very unique centerpiece in any setting
